RAPIDTURN “SL Series” SLANT BED CNC TURNING CENTRES are most suitable for Precision Turning with High Surface Finish because of the following reasons:

MOST RIGID DESIGN: Our Bed has 45 degrees “True Slant Bed” design with “Torque Tube” which effectively absorbs the cutting forces generated by Heavy Duty turning operation without undergoing deflection. This ensures achievement of Close Tolerances & eliminates chattering.

SPECIAL BASE DESIGN: Our Machine Base is based on a revolutionary concept and has several compartments filled with a special Harcrete mixture which is subsequently cured for a suitable period. This ensures EXTRA VIBRATION DAMPING resulting better surface finish and longer tool life. This also increases the stability of machine structure by lowering the center of gravity.

HEAVY DUTY HEADSTOCK & LM GUIDES: Our Spindles have heavy duty design and are mounted on 5 Bearings (Super Precision Class P3). We use Roller LM guideways on both X & Z axis with very high load rating.

OPTION OF TAILSTOCK WITH INBUILT LIVE CENTRE: This is based on design suggested by M/s RHP Bearings (England) and has much greater load taking capability as compared to standard MT-4 or MT-5 revolving centres. The inbuilt centre has a spindle running on 4 Nos. RHP Super Precision bearings. This also ensures reduction of run out on the job
